HEATING FILM
The heating film is a flexible, thin infra-red electric heater. It is offered in different heating capacities and widths. The heat and infra-red generator is a mixture of graphite paste and the heating power depends on its density and proportion.
APPLICATION OF HEATING FILMS
The main applications of heating films are:
• Underfloor heating
• Ceiling heating
• Wall heating
Installations based on heating films are used in single-family houses, apartments, offices, public buildings and warehouses. The use of heating films is unlimited, the heating speed, large heating surface, flexibility and precision of control allow for their application in many unusual situations.

FAQ
Selection of the heating film, contrary to what most of us think, does not depend solely on our requirements. Initially, it is necessary to determine the heating output of each room where the installation is to be made. If we do not find such data in the design, estimates based on the design, purpose of the premises and individual needs should be assumed.
Unlike classic heating cables or mats, the heating foil heats the entire surface and not only locally through a high temperature cable, so we can install it under any surface. The heating foil uses 50% less electricity than a traditional heating mat.
Heating films are installed only under furniture with legs of minimum 3 cm height. It is forbidden to install it under permanent fixtures, e.g. under kitchen furniture or a wall unit.
The heating film is a safe product, it has been tested by research units accredited by the European Commission.
The heating film is a stand-alone system that guarantees heat when used as the only heat source.
Electricity consumption depends solely on the insulation of the building. Based on the data contained in the document named “Energy performance” we can determine the actual operating costs.
It is forbidden to combine films of different powers.
Yes. You can combine different film widths with the same power rating (xx/m2) at your choice.
Warranty for heating films installed by an Authorized Installer is 15 years, while in the case of self-installation 6 years.
The product’s lifetime is specified at 100 years.
The selection of heating film should be based on design data. If you want to choose a product yourself, then in the case of well insulated, new buildings 80 W/m² film will be appropriate, medium insulation – 140 W/m² film, while poorly insulated buildings – 220 W/m² film.
The substrate should be dry and level. The insulation on which the heating film will be installed must be placed on a concrete layer.
The type of heating system depends on the material that will be used to finish the floor. In the case of the direct system, you can finish the floor with floor panels suitable for underfloor heating. If you want to use glued floors, you must choose a storage system, and finish the floor after the underlayment has dried.
Installation by an Authorized Installer is a guarantee of a correctly made system and a longer manufacturer’s warranty – 15 years. An authorized installer undergoes annual training and can properly select and install our products.
Orders are processed within 48 hours from the date of placing. You will be informed about the status of your order via e-mail and text message by our logistics department.
Infra-red heating film is a high quality product that will work in almost any case. Ideally suited as surface heating with special emphasis on underfloor, ceiling and wall heating. It is safe to say that the quality of workmanship combined with wide functionality makes it indispensable in its field.
The heating film works on the basis of the electrical resistance of coal. Infra-red heating film consists of carefully selected carbon and aluminium paste applied using a state-of-the-art technology (printing technique) on PET film. This material has excellent insulating and fire resistant properties. The PET film has been protected with a special LAMINEX film. The copper tape electrode acts as a conductor and the silver tape is a protection against sparking.
The heat is generated by means of electrical resistance on special graphite heating strips. The heating power depends on the distance between the aforementioned strips, the width, as well as the amount of graphite used. Heating films with relatively low power are ideal for alternative heating (comfort of warm floor) and with higher power as a basic heating system.
In our offer you will find many different models of heating films, which differ mainly in their power – from 80 W/m² up to 400 W/m².
Lower-power solutions, although they perfectly cover the demand for thermal power, are characterized by a relatively considerable time delay (longer waiting time for obtaining the set parameters).
We personally recommend more powerful heating films (from 140 W/m²) where the time delay is small, which translates into maximum thermal comfort in the room.
REMARK: Regardless of the heating power, the energy demand is the same. The difference is only in the heating time but the electricity consumption is the same! Underfloor heating with a higher power foil achieves the set temperature faster and with a lower power it takes more time to bring the surface layer to the right temperature.
The speed of temperature increase also depends on the size of the heating surface coverage – the higher the percentage of floor coverage, the shorter the waiting time to reach the set temperature. The comfort of using the heating film in a surface heating system depends largely on the electronic temperature controller. In our offer you will find both standard models – with temperature setting function and simple safety system, as well as technologically advanced models – with touch display, wide personalisation mode and remote control systems. In the case of complex products, users can choose the most effective control system, ideally suited to their needs.
REMARK: Before purchasing the heating film, ask about European tests and check the heating film protection!
Lower-power solutions, although they perfectly cover the demand for thermal power, are characterized by a relatively considerable time delay (longer waiting time for obtaining the set parameters).
The selection and installation of films in surface heating systems is uncomplicated and almost non-invasive. However, there are some key issues that need to be addressed, both in the design and execution of the installation. The fundamental mistake that can be made when designing a heating film system is to use a model with too low unit power. This may be due to incorrectly estimated heating power demand. Apart from the obvious underheating of the rooms, the time after which the temperature value reaches the desired level (or close to it) will be longer than in a correctly sized installation.
Wall heating guarantees an even temperature distribution over the entire room height. It is characterized by a lack of air circulation due to heat transfer to the room through radiation. The wall finishing elements are plaster-cardboard panels with and without finishing, laminated boards, wall panels.
Ceiling heating is installed where underfloor or wall heating is not possible due to lack of free space, e.g. large amount of floor fittings, thick carpet or wall fittings.

In our offer we have a 400 W/m2 heating film, which can be used to create your own radiator. By installing the heating film under a plaster-cardboard panel or a natural stone we will obtain a heater with low electricity consumption, high efficiency and thanks to the use of a thermoregulator we will have full control over the operating temperature and our heater will consume about 30% less electricity in relation to power.
The use of a heating film under a mirror guarantees that the mirror cannot fog up and additionally it will turn into a radiator.
The DC-powered film is ideal for heating caravans, summerhouses cottages where we do not have access to the mains. This system can be connected to a battery or directly to photovoltaic panels.
Balcony and exhibition windows are the areas that generate the greatest heat loss. By installing a strip of heating film in this area under the floor, we build a barrier curtain that will limit the cold airflow. This function serves as a floor heater.
